HGTV's Mina Starsiak-Hawk Shares an Adorable Video of Son Jack Meeting His New Baby Sister for the First Time

Last week, Good Bones star Mina Starsiak-Hawk and husband Stephen welcomed their second child: Charlotte Drew Hawk. Charlotte, the couple's first daughter, joins their two year-old son Jack.

On Monday, Starsiak took to Instagram to share the adorable moment when Jack and Charlotte first met. In the video, Starsiak hands Charlotte over to Jack to hold. She asks her son what he thinks of his new baby sister, to which he responds with a with a big grin. The two-year-old also sweetly gives his baby sister a few kisses and hugs her. When Starsiak asks him if he's going to help take care of Charlotte, he replies yes.

Alright... the much requested Jack meeting Charlie video! 🤍🤍🤍 It’s as cute as you thought it would be people. This boy of ours is the sweetest..... until he’s done. Lol. Make sure to watch till the end 😂 :::::: My guess is once he realizes she’s not leaving he may sing a different tune, but we’ll have to wait and see. Mommas and poppas with nuggets two years apart, are they best friends? Or regularly trying avoid the other??

After holding his younger sister for a bit, Jack starts to gently tilt Charlotte to the side to signal that... well, he's over this (Oh Jack!). Starsiak quickly retrieves her daughter. "This boy of ours is the sweetest..... until he’s done. Lol. Make sure to watch till the end," she wrote alongside the video.

Honestly, we can't think of a cuter brother meeting sister reaction video. In fact, if it wasn't for Instagram followers planting the idea in her head, the moment may have gone undocumented. Last week, while recuperating in the hospital after welcoming Charlotte, Starsiak posted a photo of Jack. "Missing this guys something fierce while we’re still at the hospital with no visitors allowed 😢 And so incredibly thankful for the help we have while away," she wrote.

Fans took to the comments expressing how excited they were for her to experience that special moment when her two kids will meet. One fan even wrote "Please put a video when he meets his baby sis for the first time." Fortunately, it looks like the message got through!

Hours after sharing the adorable sibling moment, Starsiak also posted a photo carousel of her postpartum body. In the first photo, she explains that she sucked in her stomach and is posing. In the photos following, she gives fans a candid look at what her body actually looks like six days after giving birth — which includes wearing a diaper. She tries to communicate to fans that not everything you see on social media is real by illustrating how easy it was for her to stage a photo. "Be kind to yourselves and to those you might be quick to judge based solely on social media," she wrote.

6 day postpartum!!!! ::::::::::: Now SWIPE RIGHT...for also...6 days PP. Just food for thought. Both are ME obviously, the first is just posed and sucked in.... suuuuper unpleasant post c section fyi. The rest are me, at rest.... in my diaper, bc yes, you have to wear a diaper after giving birth bc things just come out. There’s no room for modesty after childbirth. 😂 ::::::::: So next time you wish you looked like this or dressed like that, or had it ALL together like so many of the influencers we follow, just remember.... you’re only being shown what they want you to see; part of them for sure, but usually not the whole story.
