Peach Streusel Coffee Cake
Peach Streusel Coffee Cake
A galette is essentially the French version of a freeform pie. They are much easier to make, have a beautiful rustic look to them, and can be filled with just about anything you'd make as a pie. This peach galette is a classic and straightforward approach. We use our basic pie dough for the crust, but with galette you can skip all of the crimping and extra chilling. When rolling out the crust, don't worry to much if the edges start getting uneven or craggily. That will only add to the final look! Just make sure there are minimal gaps so that when you fold the edge of the crust over the fruit there aren't holes that the juice will escape through.
Coffee lovers rejoice!
In a study about the health benefits linked to drinking coffee, researchers found that the more a person drank, the lower their risk of liver disease.
William and Harry are taken —fine — but there's still hope for those trying to live their lives as royally as possible. Sure, yes, don't we all, etc., but she actually told Delish pre-Harry that vino is one of her vices. On shoot days (#TBT Suits, omg), she'd follow that up with steel-cut oatmeal with bananas.
Life just got a little more sweeter (without any added sugar). After all, some of the sweetest treats of all contain natural sugars that are relatively harmless when enjoyed in moderation. Having a dessert minus any added refined sugar is rather easy if you know what kinds of substitutes to be looking for — or, if you know which fruits and organic syrups can stand up to the challenge of being sweet all on their own.
