Herr’s Crunchy Funnel Cake Snack Balls Will Transport You to the Carnival

Herr’s is known for its potato chips and cheesy snacks, and you’ve probably had one of those giant containers of Cheese Balls in your house at one time or another. You might not have realized that there are other innovative snacks, including the carnival-inspired Funnel Cake Flavored Snack Balls.
Although this might be the first time you’re hearing about the Funnel Cake Flavored Snack Balls, it turns out that they have been around for years. The gluten-free snack balls are sweet and crunchy, and were created to taste like the fried dough snack with powdered sugar. Each bag has about six servings with a serving size of 39 pieces.
Instagram account @junkfoodmom tried the snack a couple of years ago and said that they taste like powdered sugar and vanilla, noting that it was hard to put the bag down. Recently, @junkfoodinthetrunk3 found the funnel cake balls in a store, but didn’t specify where. In the past, the 6-ounce bag has been spotted at Five Below and they’re listed on Instacart, so it looks like they pop up where you least expect it.
In addition the funnel cake treat, you can find other fun flavors like those Cotton Candy Balls and Cookies ‘n Cream Snack Balls, which were in collaboration with Dippin’ Dots. Herr’s has come a long way since Cheese Balls, right?
