Amid the the ongoing Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber social media drama, you may be wondering, "What is happening? Where did this come from? If only there was a BuzzFeed writer with Wi-Fi and no life to compile everything together!"

Lucky for you, I am that person. I tried to find every example of Selena and Hailey talking about one another on social media (so there won't be any interviews mentioned here) throughout the years. I am sure there will be something I missed, but this was the most exhaustive list I could compile. You have been warned.

As we get into this, it's worth noting that Hailey was once a fan of Justin and Selena together. In 2011 and 2012, Hailey would tweet saying she was "Team Jelena."

Hailey tweeted "seriously though. She is beyond flawless and he's ya know he's Bieber. They are the perfect relationship.. -__- forever alone"

In January 2015, Hailey tweeted "I just cannot compete." It's not clear exactly who she's referring to — at this point, she and Justin had recently spent NYE together while Selena was linked with Zedd.

Then we get March 2015, when Hailey seemingly favorited a tweet that said "Selena Gomez, RT for HOT, FAV for NOT." Shortly after, Hailey reportedly retweeted a post that said, "Can Hailey and Kendall fight Selena please?"

Fast-forward to July, and Selena and Justin were pictured engaging in some PDA. Soon after news hit, Hailey tweeted, "The devil really is working extra hard today."

Then we get to August 2016, when Justin posted a picture of his new girlfriend Sofia Richie and asked his fans not to be "so mean" to her. Selena commented, "If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol." Justin accused her of using him for attention, while she accused him of cheating.

Amid this hubbub, Hailey posted onto her Instagram, "We've all had our fair share of things we've done, both good and bad. What makes the present so powerful is when we take complete responsibility for our actions, we allow ourselves self-growth. Misplacing the blame onto someone else isn't going to get you to the next stage in life, so try not to manipulate a situation to make yourself look better." It's not clear who she's referring to.

On Jan. 31, 2017, Selena and The Weeknd were photographed together on vacation in Venice. Hailey tweeted the same day about The Weeknd's recent ex, writing, "Wait sorry, WHO could possibly be cuter than Bella Hadid...literally nobody" — along with a video of Bella in a bubble bath that was two weeks old.

After years of being on and off, Selena and Justin break up for the final time in May 2018. Hailey and Justin get engaged in July 2018. In November 2018, Hailey reportedly followed a Selena fan account "by accident."

Selena alluded to the swift engagement in her October 2019 song "Lose You to Love Me," which included the lyrics, "In two months you replaced us / Like it was easy." Right after the song was released, Hailey posted the song "I'll Kill You" by Summer Walker onto her Instagram story. She then denied it was a "response" to Selena's song.

Selena asked her fans to be "nice" in an Instagram Live shortly after, saying, “I am grateful for the response that the song is getting. I’m so grateful. However, I do not stand for women tearing women down.”

Hailey then reportedly liked an Instagram post celebrating Selena's new music. She also liked an Instagram video of Selena's look for the 2019 AMAs.

In January 2020, Hailey went for dinner with Madison Beer in the same restaurant where Selena was celebrating the release of her album Rare. After Madison faced negative comments for the run-in, Selena wrote, “This is disgusting reading all of this. This wasn’t intentional whatsoever. I’m so disappointed that people would speak to someone like this."

In February 2020, Hailey reposted a quote onto her Instagram that read, “A person in two months could make you feel what a person in two years couldn’t. Time means nothing, character does.” Some took this as a reference to Selena's "two months" lyric.

PHEW. This brings us up to the present day. In January 2023, Hailey and Kendall Jenner posted a TikTok lip-synching to the audio "I'm not saying she deserved it, but God's timing is always right.” This coincided with Selena facing a ton of body shaming. Hailey said the video was "not directed at anyone," and Selena wrote, "I don’t let these things get me down! Be nice to everyone!"

Hailey wrote, "I never comment on this type of thing but we were just having a girls night and did a random tik tok sound for fun. It's not directed at anyone"

Then, this month, Selena posted a video where she said that she over-laminated her eyebrows. Kylie Jenner then posted a FaceTime screenshot onto Instagram with her and Hailey's eyebrows. Kylie said that any reference to Selena was "reaching" and Selena commented, "It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”

The next day, Selena praised multiple TikToks calling Hailey a "mean girl" and called her out for a resurfaced video where she gagged upon the mention of Taylor Swift's name. Selena then said in a TikTok Live, "This is a little silly. I’m 30. I’m too old for this" and took a break from social media.

Selena wrote "So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game"

Shortly after, Hailey reposted a story about her beauty company Rhode Skin with the song "Calm Down" by Rema. Notably, this was the version of the song without Selena's vocals on it.

Both Selena and Hailey are back to posting normally amid all this. Hailey posted a picture of Justin for his birthday along with the caption, "Words couldn’t possibly sum up all that you embody. So here’s to more joy, more travel, yummy food, adventures, more peace, fun, and most of all more love."

And Selena posted pictures on a family fishing trip:

That's it. Everything. I'm going to go lie down.
