The following story contains spoilers surrounding the season season of Love Island.

If you're familiar with the Love Island series, then you know tracking the progress of couples on the show is one hell of a moving target. On any given episode, two hopeful singles who seem picture-perfect as a couple might be influenced by the competitive nature of the show, or their own hormones, from making the right decisions for themselves. The second season of the American version of Love Island premiered in late August, and already, things are turning upside down in real-time.

So what's the status of contestants' relationships on the show? Well, aside from our current unpartnered singles mingling on the island—Tre, Rachel, and Kierstan—here's how the rest of the couples are shaping up amid the weirdest social experiment ever.

James and Moira are still going strong (and despite new girl Kierstan's interest in the former). On Tuesday's episode, we witness the couple getting even closer (via their mouths).

Will they make it? We'd give it a solid 9/10 they'll leave the island together.

Connor and Mackenzie

At first, we thought Connor and Mackenzie seemed pretty good together, but things appear to be changing a bit for the two after Mackenzie's emotional outburst during Tuesday's episode. A sign of things to come?

Will they make it? We'd say maybe. Mackenzie seems a little less interested in settling down so early.

Carrington and Kaitlynn

Carrington and Kaitlynn were pretty doomed from the start since Kaitlynn expressed having mixed-feelings about her partner.

Will they make it? Nah.

Johnny and Cely

Johnny and Cely are continuing to make it work. We'd say they're one of the stronger couples on the island.

Will they make it? Another maybe. They have some sparks, but feels a little too early to judge.

Jeremiah and Justine

Jeremiah friend-zoned Justine on Tuesday's episode. While they're still a technical "couple" on the show, we doubt their long-term chances. (Fortunately for Justine, Tre seems interested in her.)

Will they make it? Nope.
