Legendary Goodfellas star Ray Liotta has died at 67, his publicist confirmed to USA Today. The actor was in the Dominican Republic shooting the upcoming film Dangerous Waters at the time of his death.
Since the tragic news emerged, celebrities have shared emotional reactions and fond memories of working with Liotta. Lorraine Bracco, who played Karen Hill in Goodfellas—wife of Liotta's Henry Hill—tweeted that working with Liotta was the best part of making the classic movie. "I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray," she wrote. "I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie. My response has always been the same…Ray Liotta."
"I can’t believe Ray Liotta has passed away," wrote Seth Rogen, who worked with Liotta on Observe and Report. "He was such a lovely, talented and hilarious person. Working with him was one of the great joys of my career and we made some of my favorite scenes I ever got to be in. A true legend of immense skill and grace."
Bracco and Rogen aren't the only ones sending their condolences to the late star.
