Here's The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Update You've Been Waiting For All Year

With August 1 serving as the unofficial start of pumpkin season, sweater-clad Pumpkin Spice Latte lovers eagerly await news about the release of the popular Starbucks seasonal drink. Well, you can mark your calendars because food blogger Markie_devo has provided details (or some would say credible rumors) on when the PSL will be released.

The self-proclaimed "Willy freaking Wonka of Brooklyn" also revealed the additional menu items pumpkin aficionados can look forward to this season.

According to Markie_devo, Starbucks' fall menu will roll out on August 30. The food blogger also provided a menu photo that shows the PSL in all its glory alongside the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and a reformulated Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato.

Before you get too excited, the PSL does come with a bit of a change: it's price. The PSL will reportedly cost 80 cents more than it did last year. But on the plus side, that raise will allegedly go to Starbucks employees.

And for those who prefer something sweet with their pumpkin beverage of choice, the leaked menu also shows a handful of desserts, including a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Pumpkin Scone, and an Owl Cake Pop.

While Starbucks has yet to confirm the fall menu or its launch date, a spokesperson for the coffee chain did offer this statement to Delish: "We’re not quite ready to welcome fall and are still enjoying the last sips of summer, like the vibrant and colorful Starbucks Refreshers® beverages.”

If August 30 is too long of a wait, you can get your PSL fix at Dunkin' a bit earlier. Markie_devo reports that Dunkin's fall menu will start on August 17 and will last until November 1.

A number of pumpkin favs will be returning this year, including the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte. The coffee chain also has a few new items this season like the Blood Orange Refresher and the Nutty Pumpkin (hot or iced coffee with a pumpkin and hazelnut shot).
