It’s official: The '90s show that set the bar for all other teen dramas is coming back to our screens this summer. The Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot — called BH90210 will be a bit different from the original show we all know and love, though it will definitely offer some nostalgic elements that you won't want to miss.

Here's everything you need to know about BH90210.

When is BH90210 premiering?

The Beverly Hills gang is coming home on Wednesday, August 7 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. In the weeks leading up to the big premiere, the show has been teasing us with plenty of previews. We're all going back to the Peach Pit, and there's one guarantee: nostalgia.

Most recently, we got a sneak peek of the updated opening credits. With the same classic tune, you can see the cast members embracing. As the clip goes through each actor, there are iconic backdrops showing the beach, Los Angeles skyline, and lots of palm trees.

In the one-minute trailer, the cast is seen starting off their individual mornings with an alarm, a fresh pot of coffee, and yoga. But they are soon accompanied by a familiar tune — the theme song for the original series.

Of course, everyone quickly recognizes it, and they know it's going to be a great day. The trailer ends with the group walking into a studio together, ready to start filming their dramedy.

This teaser only adds to the anticipation fans are feeling after watching a 30-second preview released on May 8, where the cast happily gathers around a table looking over the show's details and they waste no time catching up.

Wait, wasn't there already a 90210 reboot?

Yep, and it was called 90210. It aired from 2008 until 2013, but it sounds like the new BH90210 will be bigger and better than that version, especially since two of the O.G. cast members, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth, are the brains behind it. "[Tori] kicked the idea around … and she ran with it, literally put the entire cast together, put a fabulous pitch together with all of them and took it out, and everybody wanted it,” said CBS TV Studios president David Stapf.

Plus, Tori confirmed that other original cast members will be on the show, just in a different way than we're used to seeing them. “It is the O.G. crew back together and we are playing a heightened version of ourselves,” she told Access Live.

Who is part of the BH90210 cast?

In February, Fox ordered six episodes of the reboot. The limited series, being produced by CBS TV Studios, will only feature six original main cast members:

  • Jennie Garth (Kelly)

  • Ian Ziering (Steve)

  • Jason Priestly (Brandon)

  • Brian Austin Green (David)

  • Tori Spelling (Donna)

  • Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea)

Another surprise addition to the cast is Denise Richards. She had a small role as Robin McGill on the season two finale, but the real-life Beverly Hills "Housewife" will be in the reboot too.

"Welcome to our @bh90210 family my friend @deniserichards," Tori captioned an Instagram post on July 29.

Denise reshared the photo and wrote, "Thank you for including me T ... talk about everything comes back full circle."

Was Luke Perry going to be in BH90210?

It’s unclear whether Luke Perry (Dylan) had plans be a part of the revival before his sudden death. While Tori said that Luke would try to be as involved in the show as his schedule could allow (he was busy filming Riverdale), Stapf said the late actor wasn't supposed to be part of the reboot.

Despite this, the network still wants to honor the beloved actor in the new show. “How we deal with that moving forward is yet to be determined," Stapf said. "That’s something the writers are going to have to figure out.”

Where can I watch and stream BH90210?

With the premiere date announced for the "hour-long mockumentary-style dramedy," fans are left counting down the days until August 7.

If you plan on watching the new show on your laptop, tablet, or phone, you can live stream it on the Fox website, the iPhone app, or Android app.

Currently, dozens of Fox's hit shows can be streamed on Hulu, so we can expect the reboot episodes to also appear on the popular streaming service the day after they air.

And don't worry, if you haven't seen the original Beverly Hills, 90210, you have plenty of time to catch up on it before BH90210 hits our screens.
