Here's the Most Popular Handbag in the Country

As part of their semi-annual "Taking Stock With Teens" survey, investment bank and assets management firm Piper Jaffray asked 10,000 teenagers across the country to name their favorite handbag brands.

In first place was Michael Kors, which dominated the field with 34 percent of the votes, coming in a full 15 points ahead of their nearest competitor.

Pink Leather Tote, MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS, $298

Kate Spade handbags took second place with 19 percent of votes.

Coach came in third at 10 percent.

Pink Crossbody, COACH, $175.

Louis Vuitton was in fourth place with five percent of the votes.

And Vera Bradley rounded out the the top five with three percent.
