Not everyone is comfortable wearing backless 'fits. (I just stopped typing to raise my hand. As sweaty as I get during the summer, you'll never see my bare back.) Unsurprisingly, confidence queen Jennifer Lopez is more than happy to wear backless outfits like the one she was spotted in over the weekend while out and about in Los Angeles with husband Ben Affleck. And with the chic hairstyle she wore, J.Lo asks the rhetorical question, "What's the point of keeping cool in a backless dress if I'm just going to wear my hair down?"

Lopez was seen wearing the cutest backless — as we have established — striped cotton sundress while shopping in Beverly Hills. And to really get the benefits and full effects of a sun's-out, skin's-out look, she also wore the cutest updo.

It's what you might describe as a casual French twist with the ends adorably flopping through at the crown. It's unclear how it's being held up — pins, a clip, perhaps sheer will — but it's giving fourth-day blowout in the best way.

From the front, you can see that her shorter layers are framing her face à la curtain bangs, making this hairstyle look even softer and more romantic.

I may not be going backless this summer, but I'm absolutely going to copy this cute updo.
