ICYMI, we have a new Bachelor! You probably already know all about Peter the Pilot Weber if you tuned in to Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, but if not (or if you’re just thirsty), here’s absolutely everything you could ever want to know about him. He’s not just the man who had sex with Hannah FOUR TIMES in a windmill. There’s a lot more to this charming bb than that, okay?

The basics:

First things first: The “Peter the Pilot” thing is not just some quirky nickname or weird-role playing thing. The guy is truly, honestly a pilot for Delta Airlines. This is great news for whoever wins this season and ends up with him (if...this season actually ends in an engagement, that is). FREE FLIGHTS FOR LIFE! Probably? I’m not really sure how that works, but I’d bet there are bunches of perks.

According to Peter’s ABC bio, he’s 27 and from Westlake Village, California. He loves “snowboarding, watching football, and line dancing.” Apparently, his life motto is “you should live this life always expecting something great is about to happen to you.” He also included the fact that his grandma’s name is Rose...which feels so random to throw into a bio that only has a few short sentences.

Being a pilot runs in the fam.

Peter’s parents actually met because his dad was a pilot and his mom was a flight attendant. He also has a hot pilot brother named Jack, so if ABC ghosted your casting email...maybe you could try to slide into his DMs instead? Just a thought!

He still lives with his parents.

Has there ever been a Bachelor who lived with his parents before? Or is Peter the first one?

Anyway, Peter’s bio also says that “even though he is a man of the world, Peter still lives at home.” This kinda makes sense when you think about it, because maybe his crazy jet-setting (jet...flying?) lifestyle means that he’s not home enough to get his own place. Still, if he’s looking to get engaged by the end of this thing, maybe he should start apartment hunting.

BTW, that house is super close to Bachelor Mansion.

It’s like, literally five minutes away! (Well, according to Chris Harrison during the Bachelor in Paradise finale where Peter was confirmed as the Bachelor.)

He was the second runner-up on The Bachelorette.

Peter made a splash on Hannah’s season of The Bachelorette, not just with that windmill stunt, but by defining their relationship VERY early. On just the fourth episode, he set himself apart from the rest of the dudes by officially asking Hannah to be his girlfriend, which definitely took some guts. Like, she was literally dating more than a dozen other dudes? It’s like he has the confidence of someone who can literally fly a plane, or something.

He speaks Spanish and German.

Okay, not sure if he’s like, fluent in Spanish and German, but during the hometown dates, he flexed his multilingual abilities and...you gotta stan!

He’ll straight-up fly you wherever you want for a date. (Maybe.)

Apparently, Peter once took a girl on a flight to Santa Barbara for dinner at sunset. (The expectations for dates have just been raised exponentially by all women everywhere.) So it came as no surprise when Peter took Hannah for her own spin in the Pete plane in the hometowns ep.

Speaking of past relationships...there was some drama before he came on The Bachelorette.

Peter may or may not have auditioned for The Bachelorette while he was still in a relationship with a girl named Calee. His ex-girlfriend of five months (who claims he broke up with her over FaceTime) felt pretty betrayed by the whole thing and spoke out right before the Fantasy Suites episode.

Peter responded to the dramz by saying, “There was a lot of truth to what she said in her story, but there is also a lot of truth that wasn’t mentioned. The show had absolutely nothing to do with me ending that relationship.” Hmmm. Okay!
