So, the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards were last night, and — just in case you, ya know, forgot to watch them — we've rounded up the 21 most talked about, must-see moments for your viewing pleasure! Ready? Perfect! Here we go:

.Lots and lots of celebs strutted their stuff on the red carpet, delivering some unbelievable looks:

.And plenty of ridiculously hot power couples were out in full force, just to make us all question our own love lives:

.The red carpet was also a time for stars to pay tribute to their faves! For instance, Bretman Rock wore the exact same dress Aaliyah wore to the 2001 VMAs:

.While Madison Beer paid homage to an iconic Beyoncé look in this light pink number:

.And then Jamila Mustafa threw (what was perceived by fans as) shade at Lil Nas X's unique red carpet look:

.Twenty One Pilots performed "Saturday," and lead singer Tyler Joesph used the opportunity to announce to the world that his wife is pregnant with their second child:

.Normani (alongside Teyana Taylor) turned up the heat with a sultry performance of "Wild Side":
