"You" Season 4 Is Just Around The Corner, So Here's Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of The New Season

You Season 4 is only a few short weeks away, and along with it more of Joe Goldberg's penchant for stalking and murder.

He will continue to be a little creep, but that won't stop us from tuning in and being fascinated and horrified by him in equal measure.

Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming season:
🚨SPOILER WARNING🚨 for the end of You Season 3
1.Despite Joe's presence in Paris at the end of Season 3, the new season was actually filmed and will be set in London.
"To be real, it's cheaper," admitted Penn Badgley in an interview. That said, there could still be some scenes set in Paris, according to ET.
2.Joe's newest fake name will be Professor Jonathan Moore, even though the final scene of Season 3 saw him going by Nick.
Maybe if Joe pursued his true passion (acting, clearly), he'd stop murdering people.
3.Tati Gabrielle will be back as Marienne.
“I really would love to see her foil Joe,” Gabrielle said about her hopes for her character. “On one hand, I would love to see her foil Joe, and then, on the other hand, I’d love to see what it could be like for Marienne to just have a good life. She struggled for so long.”
Joe is obviously not going to leave this poor woman alone, but hopefully she can outsmart him now that she's somewhat aware of his deadly obsessive tendencies.
4.Victoria Pedretti won't be back as of now.
"As far as I know, she's dead," said the actor behind Love Quinn. She is, however, open to the idea of coming back for a flashback. Personally, I'd love to see her haunting Joe.
5.Season 4 will be the first season of You to be released in parts, with Part 1 dropping on Feb. 9 and Part 2 following on March 9.
6.Penn Badgley will be directing at least one episode of Season 4, as confirmed by co-creator and EP Sera Gamble on Instagram.
7.Charlotte Ritchie will be playing the main role of Kate, along with Tilly Keeper as Kate's best friend Phoebe.
Here's the character description according to Deadline:
"She’s smart, independent, suspicious, misses nothing. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, a brick wall to everyone else. The daughter of a chaotic, bohemian single mother, Kate worked hard to create the life she now leads. She’s an art gallery director whose job means managing tempestuous artists. Kate tends to be 'the adult in the room,' and has embraced the moniker of 'icy bitch.'
She’s especially protective of best friend Lady Phoebe (Tilly Keeper), a sweet and trusting person whose extreme wealth and fame tend to attract opportunists. Kate prefers 'arrangements' to love, which is why she dates fun but self-centered partier Malcolm (Stephen Hagan). When Malcolm invites Joe (Badgley), an American outsider of no apparent means, into their privileged world, Kate not only immediately dislikes him, she strongly suspects something about the man is not what he seems."
8.Whatever Kate's initial impression of Joe might be, it's clear things will get cozier between the two as the season progresses.
I can't wait to think they make a cute couple before I remind myself that Joe is the worst and start yelling at Kate to stay away from him.
9.Here's a rundown of all the other new characters:
Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia, a literature student and aspiring author whose bold personality covers up hidden insecurities.
Ed Speleers as Rhys, an eccentric author and politician who escaped his traumatic upbringing when he came into money and attended Oxford.
Lukas Gage as Adam, a US ex-pat whose family is incredibly rich and influential. A habitual partier and gambler, Adam is hiding a lot under his fun exterior.
Niccy Lin as Sophie, a Kim Kardashian–like influencer and entrepreneur who is very protective of her brother, Simon.
Aidan Cheng as Simon, Sophie's brother who did not go into the family tech business and became an acclaimed artist instead.
Eve Austin as Gemma, a wealthy member of Kate and Phoebe's friend group who is fun to party with but completely lacks empathy for anybody outside of her privileged circle.
Dario Coates as Connie, another member of the group whose wealth and privilege have helped him avoid consequences his whole life.
Ozioma Whenu as Blessing, a cryptocurrency investor with several post-graduate degrees whose risk-taking tendencies come from believing that we're all living in a simulation.
10.Penn Badgley teased "a different format" to this season, which could mean anything.
"The tone is similar but it's shifting in that there is a different format. We're using a different format," he said to ET. "It's almost like we're shifting the genre slightly. And I think it works."
This is entirely speculative, but I feel like this could have something to do with Marienne since she's the only character who knows about Joe's previous life and hasn't been killed by him. She's also onto him after Love's warning at the end of Season 3. He could also be referring to Joe/Jonathan's relationship to Kate, which seems like it might have an enemies-to-lovers dynamic that the show hasn't seen before.
11.Finally, while it's not likely that we'll see baby Henry this season, Season 4 might explore Joe's feelings regarding abandoning his son.
"That's going to be an ongoing conversation, because no, you can't pretend something that huge about a character didn't happen," Gamble said. "I think it will shape him from this moment forward."
