Everything We Know About Jenna Dewan’s Pregnancy With Her Boyfriend, Steve Kazee

Sure, a little time might have passed since Jenna Dewan first announced her pregnancy to the world, but her fans are still stoked! Back in September, Jenna and her boyfriend of a year, Steve Kazee, announced via People that they are expecting a baby. “We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!” the couple said in a joint statement.

After the announcement was finally out, Jenna opened up about the pregnancy on her Instagram and gushed about how happy she is to have another bb soon.

“Becoming a mother is quite simply the absolute best most incredible thing that has ever happened to me 💕,” Jenna wrote under a pic of herself showcasing her baby bump. “@SteveKazee you are a gift from above and I couldn’t be more excited to be expanding our family together...! Thank you guys for all the love!!” Look at how cute and round Jenna is!!

Steve also was over the moon about sharing the news and made his own post about Jenna’s pregnancy. Grab a tissue real quick, because his post just might cause a tear to spring to your eye:

That being said, the very first Dewan-Kazee baby will be here pretty darn soon, so while you’re waiting for his/her arrival, here is everything you need to know in the meantime!

This will be Jenna’s second child.

That’s right, this isn’t Jenna’s first mommy rodeo. Jenna and her ex-husband, Channing Tatum, share a daughter named Everly. Everly just celebrated her 6th birthday this past May and dressed up like the cutest little fairy for the occasion.

Even though Everly isn’t Steve’s biological daughter, Steve has a great attitude around her...which is probably what gave Jenna the confidence to have her own baby with him! “[Steve] is very supportive of her as a mom,” a source told People. “He is amazing with Everly. Jenna loves having Steve around. She feels very lucky to be dating him.”

This is Steve’s first child.

Yep, Steve is gonna be a first-time dad! Steve was in a long-term relationship with Smash actress Megan Hilty for about six years, but they opted not to expand the fam.

In Steve’s Instagram post following Jenna’s pregnancy announcement, he shared that spending time with Everly and seeing how Jenna interacts with her has allowed him to see what it’s truly like to be a good parent.

“Evie burst into my life like a supernova and has continued to burn so brightly in it,” Steve wrote. “I have learned so much about parenting already from watching how amazing Jenna is with her and Evie has taught me so much about what it means to love and communicate with a child and I can’t wait to give her a sibling and make our little family a little bit bigger.”

Jenna and Steve will probably teach their baby to be environmentally friendly.

And honestly, god bless them for it! Jenna’s already doing a great job with Everly by making sure she’s aware of how her actions affect the planet. Everly, according to Jenna, is actually enrolled in a fairy camp where she learns how to be respectful of nature. How cute is that!!!

“She [Everly] goes to a ‘fairy’ camp, which sounds really ‘girly’ but it is actually very ‘Girl Scout-y.’ They go into the parks and they learn all about how to be respectful to nature,” Jenna told People last year. “She’ll tell me, ‘Mommy, you need to recycle that’ or ‘Be careful, don’t disrespect nature!’ It starts young. She’s only 4 and she already has that instilled in her, so I think I’m doing something right.”

We don’t know how far along Jenna is.

I know, I know. Kind of a bummer! But we got a pretty good picture of Jenna while she was out and about in New York City at the end of October. Some astute people in the Instagram comments guessed that she’s anywhere between four and six months.

We also don’t know the sex of the baby yet.
