Here's Every Song You Heard on Netflix's "Freeridge" Soundtrack

Netflix's On My Block spin-off series, Freeridge, is finally here. While we bid farewell to Jamal, Ruby, Monsé, and Cesar in the fourth and final season of OMB, our new core four Gloria, Ines, Demi, and Cam are going through their own journey on the brand-new show when they attempt to reverse a curse they accidentally unleashed. With hilarious one-liners and sprinkles of magic throughout, Freeridge will become your next favorite TV show to watch with your besties.

On top of Freeridge's ~very eventful~ plot, an integral part of the storytelling is the music that plays in each scene. In episode three, the core four deals with the curse's twists and turns while they navigate their freshman and sophomore years of high school. As they begin to unravel the mystery of its origins, they thought they were being haunted by the ghost of Ruby's grandmother, Marisol. 070 Shake's 2022 track, "Coccoon," blasts through the speakers upon Demi's discovery that the culprit may actually be someone named Mariluna when she opens a hidden panel in the cursed box. Bryana Salaz, who plays Ines, told Netflix's TUDUM that the "hard song" being part of the major plot point "was such a cool freaking moment."

The fun doesn't stop with that one scene, though. Emerging artists like Doechii, Adrian Quesada, Soolja, and Diamond Qing make up the sounds of the South Central Los Angeles neighborhood in which our core four resides.
