Wedding plans for Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are officially in full swing! So if you see every single site run out of faux blood soon, that’s probably why. In case you forgot, the twin flames got engaged in January 2022 and announced it to the world with the sweetest video and wildest Instagram captions.
The timeline is still TBD for when the couple will say “I do” and details are still shaking out, but the planning is well underway. Here’s what we know about Megan and MGK’s wedding so far.

Machine Gun Kelly spoke about his wedding to E! News on the BBMAs red carpet this week, saying, “I don’t want to say too much. It’s going to be weird. It’s going to be completely out of the box.” Clearly, it hasn’t happened just yet, but stay tuned because…
The wedding is pretty much planned
A source close to Megan told E! News back in March 2022 that the couple aren’t “in a huge rush to tie the knot but have been starting to engage in the planning process.” But flash-forward to September and things have changed!
"Their wedding plans are still on, but being as busy as they are, they are taking everything one day at a time," a source told Entertainment Tonight, adding that they are "pretty much done wedding planning."
But they need the universe to “give them space”
As Megan put it to Entertainment Tonight during the premiere of MGK’s new Hulu doc, “He’s on tour this year.…When it needs to happen, the universe will open up and give us the space to do that.”
It’s going to give major goth vibes
Lol, as if anyone’s surprised by this one. Back in February 2022, MGK told James Corden on The Late Late Show that finding a location has been hard since he and Megan want a “red river” and gothic elements. On! Brand! They are “trying to find a spot” that meets their full artistic vision. Fair!
“They want an extravagant, dark wedding as neither of them are the traditional type of people,” added an E! source. “Megan has even thought about wearing a colored dress or even black.”
Pete Davidson will be a groomsman
“I think my side is going to be an army of few,” MGK said to Howard Stern on The Howard Stern Show. “I have so many close and best friends that have been with me all these years. But yeah, I think Pete is absolutely going to be standing there with me and we should just mic him just for commentary anyway.”
MGK and Megan will make their kids a part of the day
Together, Megan and MGK have four kids total from their previous relationships—Megan’s three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green and MGK’s 12-year-old daughter with Emma Cannon. According to the E! insider, the kiddos will “definitely be involved in a special way” during the wedding. Awww.
