The Yellowjackets baby, unfortunately, never had a chance. In this week’s episode, titled “Burial,” the stranded soccer team continues to face a harsh winter while they also cope with the loss of Shauna's baby. But in the present, the big reunion has occurred. All the Yellowjackets women have come together on Lottie's ranch, and for a brief moment there is peace. Now that we’re seven episodes into the season, it seems like the girls will finally face what happened to them. Every week, every episode, a new layer to the story is unveiled. According to Courtney Eaton, who plays Lottie on the show, the cast was kept in the dark about Season Two’s twists and turns—in order to keep the mystery alive, the writers would only release scripts a week before they were shot. “It is a bit of a puzzle and a game playing her, especially when you can sense something’s coming in the next episode and some of the choices she might make later in the season,” Eaton tells Esquire. “But without writers telling you any of that. So it’s kind of a guessing game."
That mystery, however, is what makes Yellowjackets so interesting. Season One took the world by storm when it premiered in November of 2021 and left everyone with a dozen juicy theories.
