Your HelloGiggles tarotscope for September: Get ready because change is (literally) in the cards

Much like horoscopes, tarotscopes are a way to predict upcoming energy and how it can affect you. Whereas with the former, we look at the position of the planets in the sky to make predictions, tarotscopes are a divination tool based on the reading we see in cards. For September, I turned to the cards to find messages for each zodiac sign as we move into a new time of year.

Although I solely use tarot cards to perform the reading, you may find that they can align with the astrology messages for your sign. Tarot always finds a way to mirror astrology, which makes sense because it’s simply another means of extracting information from the universe.

So what does September have in store for you? Get ready for a lot of changes as we start to transition to fall, because the universe says signs across the zodiac will start to leave things behind and move forward with others. Aries

Card: 9 of Wands (Reversed)

The month of September is about the end of a struggle for you. Whatever situation that caused you to feel defensive, set back in your efforts, frustrated, it’s coming to an end. This end might be painful or difficult to accept, but do know it is for the best. You will find yourself relieved once on the other side.

Taurus

Card: 3 of Swords (Reversed)

There is a sense of cutting right through the BS this month. You have clarity and are not willing to waste your time and energy on situations and people that don’t offer you the same clarity. Time to cut your losses and move forward. In love, in particular, you’re called to use judgment and reason to make decisions—you are no fool!

Gemini

Card: 8 of Wands (Reversed)

You’re a bit scattered this month—as if you were on Mercury retrograde. You’re called to reparent yourself, make sound decisions for yourself, and avoid spending money on travels and trips that you can’t or shouldn’t afford. Focus on your inner world and take the time of reflection before you speak your mind.

Cancer

Card: 4 of Wands (Reversed)

There could be a sense of disappointment in your home base or relationship, Cancer. It sounds like some of you are asked to walk away from disappointing situations that don’t offer you the stability you desire. Sometimes, it’s okay to walk from something just okay in order to get something really great.

Leo

Card: The Magician

Be very wary of new people in your life, Leo. Sometimes, people who appear very charming and attractive on the surface are actually quite poor inside, and this month is about making sense of what’s real and what’s an illusion. Protect your money and your heart.

Virgo

Card: Queen of Swords (Reversed)

You could be feeling insensitive, cold, detached—or, on the contrary, you could feel that it’s difficult to use your usual levelheadedness as you become overwhelmed by your emotions. The advice this month is to take the time to contemplate and reflect. In silence and stillness, you’ll find the solutions you desire.

Libra

Card: King of Cups

You have successfully mastered yourself. After hard work and effort, you have gained mastery over your emotions and over your passion. You’re able to make better choices in love, and you find yourself much more able to regulate your emotional world and responses. Perhaps, you find that you’re complete on your own, meaning you don’t need anyone—and that’s why you might just find the perfect shoe on your foot.

Scorpio

Card: 5 of Swords (Reversed)

This month you’ll realize that when you play dirty, there’s no winner. It could be a month of karmic retributions; a month during which past betrayals and sneaky actions—whether you’re on the giving hand or receiving hand—are coming up full circle. It’s also an overall end of conflict, moving on from past hurt and from actions and relationships that weigh heavy on your mind. You’re leaving pain and conflict behind.

Sagittarius

Card: 6 of Wands

You are celebrating your achievements and success, loud and proud. You have been working hard at freeing yourself from limiting mindsets and beliefs, and you’re now reaping the rewards of your efforts! Time to proudly parade—but be careful not to fall in the trap of egotism.

Capricorn

Card: 10 of Cups

It’s a major month of completion, Capricorn, all about family and relationships. You’re going after your happiness, and you might have to make some concessions on the work plane in order to get the perfect love you crave. It’s a time of mastery and stability in love.

Aquarius

Card: The Chariot

Don’t get ahead of yourself, Aquarius. Your energy is scattered and you need to slow down—keep your ships at the dock! You are rushing and skipping too many steps. Do you even know where you’re going or are you going nowhere really fast? Sit down, ground yourself, and make sure that you aren’t skipping steps intellectually.

Pisces

Card: Page of Swords

This month is about a complete change in the way you express yourself. But be careful as, while you have tremendous curiosity and innovation this month, you aren’t exactly the most grounded or practical. Use this energy to brainstorm, play around with new concepts and ideas, and have fun intellectually. But remember that this newness is good for taking initiatives, but not so much for executing, so don’t get ahead of yourself. Also a good idea: Watch your words! As much as you feel playful and communicative, you’re advised not to indulge in gossip.
