Helena Christensen showed off her toned abs and booty in a new swimsuit video on Instagram.
In the clip, the 53-year-old supermodel went for a quick swim in a natural ice bath surrounded by snow.
Helena mixes up her workouts to stay in such great shape—whether it's outdoor yoga, boxing, or hiking.
Helena Christensen is taking winter fun to a whole new level. The 53-year-old supermodel put on her swimsuit to take a dip in freezing cold water while surrounded by snow. In the video, Helena takes a few moments to get accustomed to the temperature before taking a deep breath and sitting down in the stream. But within a few seconds, Helena was back on her feet and out of the water.
Whether it was a few seconds or a few minutes...I give her major props! The model simply captioned her post "⛄️."
Her followers rushed to the comments with one user chiming, "So that's the secret to looking young..🥶😁." Another added, "Looks cold but beautiful 🥶🥶🥶." Fellow supermodel Paulina Porizkova also joined in saying, "I so want to do this 😁 you’re my hero."
Aside from letting her natural ice bath work its magic, Helena spends plenty of time mixing things up at the gym. She's previously shared some pretty intense workout videos of her doing outdoor yoga, jumping rope, squatting on a surf balance board, and hitting some squat jumps.
She even shared a clip of herself doing anti-gravity sit-ups with her trainer and boxing coach, Jason Lee, who she's worked with for the past 15 years.
In 2019, Helena told the Daily Mail, "I think it's important to shake it up and do as many different forms of workout as possible, but also to incorporate nature into them," she said. "Swim in the ocean, swim in rivers, swim in lakes. Hiking, trekking, chopping wood–it's the best way of working out because it doesn't really feel like a workout. It feels like you're alive."
It's clear that Helena puts some serious work in at the gym, but her number one priority is getting rest. In 2017, she told Harper's Bazaar UK, "I feel absolutely the best when I have had good sleep... It just changes your entire day—when you haven't had enough sleep and also when you have."
As for her diet, Helena has a few favorite meals she likes to have on the reg. "I could eat pasta every night, with tons of parmesan or a few white truffles thrown in," she said. "I also love Japanese food, and I always think I'm eating so clean... before I order a hundred different options! I adore my mother's Peruvian food, which I grew up with, too, and of course, Danish cuisine."
