Heidi Klum Reacted To The Explosive Hulu Victoria's Secret Series And Maintained She Had "The Best Time Ever" As An Angel
Heidi Klum said in a new interview that she declined to appear in the Hulu docuseries Victoria's Secret: Angels and Demons.
The three-part series, released last month, tells a shocking tale of the lingerie brand — including accusations of harassment by company executives, allegations that the brand demanded unhealthy body ideals, and the ties between VS's former CEO Les Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein.
Some former models for the brand — such as Frederique van der Wal and Lyndsey Scott — participated in the docuseries, as well as numerous high-ranking former VS employees.
Despite being an Angel for 11 years, Heidi declined to be a part of the series. That being said, her name does get brought up in the series — specifically because she reportedly wanted the "biggest wings" at the fashion shows.
"The wings were an obvious and dumb idea, and that they worked is what astonished me, and worked for so long," director Matt Tyrnauer told Insider. "But internally, they worked too because you see the models competing to wear the biggest wings, and that attracted them to the job."
