Charli And Dixie D'amelio's Mom Addressed That "Crazy Rumor" About Her Pinching Charli
You may or may not be familiar with the D'amelio family. That's a joke—you definitely are. Between Charli and Dixie's TikTok fame, Charli's Dunkin' collabs, and Dixie's many new projects, the D'amelio crew is pretty ubiquitous these days. That's why, ahead of Mother's Day, we asked matriarch Heidi to join us at The Chopping Block to answer your burning questions about TikTok, the real family dynamic, and so much more. Oh, and Marc D'amelio joined her.
The pair joked about how crazy life is with five dogs and two internet-famous daughters and admitted lovingly that their D'amelio-specific group chat is "a real free-for-all." Heidi also mentioned, somewhere around chopping her second onion, how they've caught Dixie sneaking out of the house before, and how Dixie said it wasn't worth the trouble she got into because the party she attended "wasn't even fun." That said, Dixie apparently got into "big trouble" for the outing.
The pair also discussed their super-quick rise to fame, and how people think their new notoriety was more "planned" than it actually was. In fact, Marc said, the D'amelios are "flying by the seat of [their] pants" when it comes to navigating "the position [they're] in."
Anyway! It was a lovely time and we hope Heidi has the most wonderful of Mother's Days. Or, at the very least, that one of her daughters brings her some coffee and/or merch tomorrow. That could be fun.
