Heartbreaking photo of Miley and Liam's fire-ravaged home
Liam Hemsworth has shared a heartbreaking photo of what’s left of the Malibu house he shares with Miley Cyrus after it was destroyed in the California wildfires.
The Aussie actor posted an image of their burned-out property, revealing that a ‘Love’ sign was all that was left among the ash and rubble.
“It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love,” Liam wrote on Instagram, alongside the photo of the charred remains.

After he and his singer fiancée lost their home, the Hunger Games star announced they wanted to put back into the neighbour hood that has been affected by the natural disaster, donating $693,000k to the community to help restore its “magic”.
“Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires,” the actor added.
Yesterday, Miley, 24, had taken to Instagram to tell fans they had escaped safely with their animals, but that the $2.5m house the couple share “no longer stands”.
“I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now,” she wrote, describing herself as “devastated”.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer went on to thank the emergency services for everything they’d done as she vowed to cherish the memories made in the home.
“My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong,” she wrote. “I am grateful for all I have left.
Miley wrote a song last year about her rekindled romance with her Aussie fiancé, based around that very home, proving just how much the property means to them.
Condolences and well wishes have since been pouring in from their fans.
“I’m sorry for your house, I’m praying for Malibu,” one fan wrote, while another sent the couple their thoughts.
“Sorry to hear about Miley’s house. Glad that her animals are okay hopefully you can rebuild a new house soon,” another said.
Just two months ago, Miley and Liam — who is originally from Byron Bay but has lived in the US for ten years — bought a swanky new pad in Nashville.
It’s thought the pair may have retreated to the $8.5m love nest they bought in Nashville recently for safety with their animals.

Other celebrities have also been affected by the fires including Gerard Butler, Robin Thicke and Neil Young.
Gerrard took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal his house had been destroyed with a photo of his burned out home.
“Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters,” he said.
