The highly anticipated service became available to users on May 27 and will cost $14.99 per month. I know what you’re thinking: Another streaming service. But HBO Max may be worth the monthly charge. Not only will you have access to all 10 seasons of Friends—plus that much-discussed Friends unscripted reunion…whenever that happens—you’ll also be able to watch WarnerMedia favorites, like Pretty Little Liars, plus HBO darlings like Big Little Lies, Sex and the City, and Game of Thrones. It literally covers all the bases.

Which means, naturally, it’ll be difficult figuring out what to watch after you do sign up. I’m here to help. Below are my picks for the best titles—both original and classic—hitting HBO Max on May 27 and beyond. I’ll update this post as more titles become available, but use this as your navigation guide. Originals dropping May 27

On the Record: Per an HBO Max press release, “On the Record presents the powerful and haunting story of music executive Drew Dixon as she grapples with her decision to become one of the first women of color, in the wake of #MeToo, to come forward and publicly name hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons of sexual assault. The documentary chronicles not only Dixon’s story but that of several other accusers—Sil Lai Abrams and Sheri Sher.”

Love Life: Anna Kendrick stars in this new anthology show that examines how people go through several brief romances to ultimately find their soulmate. Those flings, it turns out, morph Kendrick’s character into the person she is when she eventually meets the One.

Legendary: Celebrity judges Megan Thee Stallion, Jameela Jamil, Leiomy Maldonado, and Law Roach watch as groups of voguing teams compete in several dancing showcases. The cast of dancers includes ballroom-culture icons like MC Dashaun Wesley and DJ MikeQ, so expect nothing but excellence.

Expecting Amy (July 9): A three-part documentary following Amy Schumer as she navigates a standup tour while experiencing a difficult pregnancy.

HBO favorites coming to HBO Max in the summer and fall

Big Little Lies: As if you can get enough of the Monterrey Moms and their web of lies.

Euphoria: Zendaya’s glitter-soaked teen drama tackles some very adult topics, like drug usage and web-camming. In fact, it’s not really for teenagers at all.

Game of Thrones: Because I know you’re itching to watch Arya kill the Night King again.

Insecure: Issa Rae’s revolutionary comedy series, chronicling the black female experience from the perspective of two best friends in their late 20s (Rae and Yvonne Orji) is necessary TV. It’s also incredibly funny.

Succession: And if you missed the Succession pandemonium last fall (like I did), you can catch up on your own time. The exploits and shenanigans of the very rich family who run the Waystar Royco media conglomerate are not to be missed.

Sex and the City: You can finally figure out, once and for all, if you’re a Carrie, a Samantha, a Miranda, or a Charlotte.

True Blood: Alexander Skarsgård as a shirtless vampire? Sign me up, please.

Other favorites coming to HBO Max

A Star Is Born: Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s 2018 remake of this film was praised by fans and critics alike. If you missed it, tune in to see why the classic story of fame, addiction, and love still resonates with viewers today.

Bridesmaids: Kristen Wiiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, and Melissa McCarthy are just as hilarious in this comedy (about a bridal party gone awry) now as they were when it came out in 2011.

Crazy Rich Asians: Constance Wu stars in this near-perfect comedy (based on the best-selling novel of the same name) about a college professor who soon learns her boyfriend (Henry Golding) comes from a wildly wealthy family in Singapore.

Crazy, Stupid, Love: Speaking of near-perfect comedies, Julianne Moore, Steve Carell, Emma Stone, and Ryan Gosling star in this ensemble movie about several relationships that don’t seem connected at first but, oh boy, they are.

Bachelor Nation programming: Keep yourself occupied until we get new seasons of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise with every old episode in the franchise’s storied, nearly 20-year history.

The Big Bang Theory: We may have said goodbye to this long-running series last May, but you can relive it over and over again thanks to HBO Max. I’ll never forget about you, Sheldon Cooper!

Friends: I don’t really need to say much about this one, do I?

Gossip Girl: Or this.

The O.C.: And now that I think about it, this either.

Pretty Little Liars: Yup, these titles really just speak for themselves.

The Office: Now you can watch both this and Netflix’s Space Force (which is believed to be like The Office but in outer space) at the same time.

Pride and Prejudice: Mr. Darcy hive, where you at?

The Wizard of Oz: A classic!

13 Going on 30: I’ll always have a soft spot for Jenna Rink and her whimsical story of morphing from a 13-year-old girl to a 30-year-old magazine editor literally overnight.

Miss Congeniality: Watch this right after 13 Going on 30 and turn it into a rom-com marathon.

When Harry Met Sally: End with this classic.

Magic Mike: And when you’re done crying and want to watch some shirtless dudes dance, well, here ya go!
