The Haunting of Bly Manor Fans Are Losing It After Realizing the Little Girl Also Voices Peppa Pig

The Haunting of Bly Manor has been sufficiently scaring Netflix users for a few days now. But it turns out the most shocking part of the series has nothing to do with the plot. If you’re watching, you’re familiar with Flora, the little girl who lives at Bly Manor with her brother. She collects lots of dolls—which are often scattered around the house—and says the phrase “perfectly splendid” every five seconds. It’s very creepy.

I don’t know about y’all, but by episode three of Bly Manor  I was convinced I’d heard Flora's voice before. And I have—we all have. As if Netflix knew a fact like this would go viral, the streaming platform tweeted on October 12 that Amelie Bea Smith, who plays Flora, is also the voice of Peppa Pig. Yes, that Peppa Pig, star of her own British animated series. The Peppa Pig who released a debut album in July 2019 and shook all the girls up. The Peppa Pig whom PinkNews dubbed a “gay icon” (which she is, see below).

But she’s most known as the Peppa Pig who loathes people who can whistle, specifically Suzie Sheep:

“Amelie Bea Smith from The Haunting of Bly Manor is also the voice of Peppa Pig! Pass it on,” Netflix tweeted.

Fans, unsurprisingly, are shaken and stirred at this news. “Once again Peppa Pig makes her move,” one user wrote. “The perfectly splendid feeling when you find out Flora from Haunting of Bly Manor also does the voice of Peppa Pig,” tweeted someone else.

Peep some more reactions to this news, below:

The Haunting of Bly Manor is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2018’s The Haunting of Hill House. (It’s an anthology series, though, so the plots aren’t the same. That being said, many of the actors from Hill House are back in new roles.) All episodes are currently streaming on Netflix.
