While we may not be getting a One Direction reunion anytime soon (😢), it seems like Harry Styles has been feeling just as nostalgic as us when it comes to his good ol’ boyband days. The “As It Was” singer, who has been advocating for therapy and getting cozy with gf Olivia Wilde, did just perform the 1D throwback song “What Makes You Beautiful” at Coachella with Lizzo — icon behavior only!

Harry Styles sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe and Apple Music to talk all things Harry’s House, which is being released at the end of May. The star revealed that his upcoming album is his favorite one at the moment, saying, “I realized it wasn’t about the geographical location. It’s much more of an internal thing. […] It was about, imagine it’s a day in my house. What do I go through? A day in my mind, what do I go through in my house?”

Harry also talked about his experience with One Direction and his relationship with the former 1D band members (Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik…you know, in case you somehow forgot).

“I look at people who kind of went through some version of what we went through, but on their own,” Harry explained. “I’m like, I can't imagine having done that, really…I feel really lucky that we always had each other to be this unit that felt like you could keep each other in check and you could just have someone else who gets it."

Harry had some very sweet things to say that honestly have us getting a little teary-eyed. The singer opened up to Zane Lowe, saying, “I think having that is kind of priceless. There is very much a respect between all of us if we did something together. And that is something that you can't really undo. And you know, it's like a very deep love for each other, I think.”

Harry Styles, who is now 28 years old, joined One Direction when he was only 16. Since the X-Factor audition that changed his life, Harry has released seven albums — with his eighth album Harry’s House available on May 20th.
