Harry and Meghan Are Reportedly Going to Be "Frozen Out" by Prince Charles and the Rest of the Royal Family

Great news: All of the drama within the royal family is officially over.

Just kidding. The opposite of that. The royal family drama is still going strong and reportedly getting more intense all the time—and, no, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's current trip to the U.K. for charitable do-gooding is not going to reverse that.

According to the Daily Beast, a friend of Prince Charles said Harry and Meghan are basically going to be "frozen out" by the entire royal fam both during and after their U.K. visit. Things were obviously already v tense between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals already, but apparently Meghan's recent interview with The Cut made things even worse since some of her comments were interrupted as low-key threats to The Firm and its ~secrets~.

"Charles adores Harry, and would like nothing better than to get the relationship sorted. But a meeting next week is unlikely," the Daily Beast source explained. "Everything was already on hold until they saw what was in Harry’s book, but if Meghan is actively threatening to reveal further secrets, and telling interviewers, 'I haven’t signed anything, I can say anything I want,' then it’s not surprising they are being frozen out."

The exact quote the royal source is referencing from Meghan's interview with The Cut, if you're interested, is this one:

“It’s interesting, I’ve never had to sign anything that restricts me from talking," she reveals, as she ushers me toward the door. “I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to.” Why doesn’t she talk? “Still healing,” she responds.

FWIW, right after this moment in the interview, Meghan addressed the concept of forgiveness and *seemed* to hint that she'd be open to royal reconciliation down the line—although, admittedly, she also seems very aware that will take a lot of work to achieve.

"I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive," Meghan said during the interview (in a way the writer described as "wisely," no less). "But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything,"

Sooo...frozen out for now, but hopefully not forever?
