Watched the trailer for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new Netflix docuseries and need to know more immediately? Same! And while Harry & Meghan still doesn't have a premiere date (the trailer simply says "coming soon"), Netflix did provide a bunch of new information about the show in a press release—and it sounds fascinating.

Harry & Meghan will be six full episodes, and is described as "unprecedented and in-depth." According to Netflix, the Liz Garbus-directed series will "explore the clandestine days" of the couples' early courtship, as well as the "challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution."

The Sussexes obviously talked about this at length during their bombshell Oprah interview, so what makes the documentary different? Access to their home life, for one, as well as "commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed."

It's still unclear which members of Harry and Meghan's friend group will be speaking out, but they'll be joined by "historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press."

Netflix also promises that the "series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story," adding that "it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other."

Yes please to all of this! Oh, and as for the premiere date: while Netflix hasn't confirmed when the six-episode series will be available for streaming, multiple outlets report that Harry & Meghan is dropping on December 8. TBD on how long the episodes are, but if they're an hour each we're looking at six straight hours of content so...get ready.
