Despite leaving life as senior members of the Royal Family behind, interest in Meghan and Harry was never waned. These days photographs of the Sussexes are pretty hard to come by, as they enjoy a more private life away from the spotlight.

Every so often, an official portrait of Harry and Meghan, or their children, will be released — with their approval. These glimpses into the Sussexes new life in California only ever leave the public wanting more.

To mark the release of two new photographic portraits of Harry and Meghan, we back at some of the couples best moments captured on camera: from their wedding, time as working members of the Royal Family, and beyond.

The pictures were taken ahead of the One Young World Summit in Manchester last month by Misan Harriman. Meghan was there to give the keynote address and it was one of a series of engagements that the couple undertook while in the UK.

Their trip had been planned for months, but once the news of Queen Elizabeth II's death came, the couple extended their visit to the UK to take part in the period of mourning.

Harriman is said to be a close friend of the couple and has photographed them previously on special occasions, including their pregnancy announcement for their daughter and then Lilibet's first birthday party.

In the second photo the couple are pictured in black and white, looking away from the frame, about to walk into the opening ceremony of the One Young World Summit — a charity that Meghan has supported since before she met her husband.

Here are some of their most famous photos.

2017 – Engaged to be married

At the photo-call that marked announcement of their engagement, Meghan and Harry looked overjoyed to be sharing the news.

May 2019 – Archie is born

In May, Harry and Meghan's family grew as they welcomed their first child into the world. Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born on 6 May, making the Sussexes a family of three. Both new parents looked over the moon in the official photocall.

September 2019 – The family visit South Africa

Not long after Archie's birth, the Sussex family was off on another international tour, this time to South Africa. It was here that their now well known documentary was filmed, during which Harry admitted he and his brother William were on "a different path" and Meghan opened up about her state of mind.

Despite the difficulties the family faced behind the scenes, this picture of baby Archie and his proud parents is one of the best the public has seen.

March 2020 - Stepping back from the spotlight

After making a shock announcement earlier in 2020 that they would be stepping down as senior royals, Harry and Meghan undertook their final engagements as working royals.

The three main events: the Endeavour Fund Awards, the Mountbatten Festival of Music, and the annual Commonwealth Day Service.

All three engagements saw Meghan display some of her most iconic fashion ensembles to date and were where some of the most famous photos of the couple were snapped.

April 2022 - Life beyond royal duties

After the pandemic restrictions had inhibited their charitable engagements for so long, Meghan and Harry looked absolutely thrilled to be back at the Invictus Games — one of Harry's long term patronages.

It was also a treasure trove of photos of the Duke and Duchess for royal fans.
