Halsey Released Her “Graveyard” Video Starring Sydney Sweeney of Euphoria

And fans already have their theories.

Just in time for the arrival of the scariest season of the year, Halsey released a brand-new video that's both creepy and colorful. Ahead of the release of her new album, Manic, out January 17, the singer debuted the video for the single "Graveyard."

Sharing the video on Tuesday, October 8, Halsey stars in the clip alongside Sydney Sweeney of Euphoria, Complex points out.

The video begins with Halsey doodling a drawing of Sydney that seems to come to life. As a very glittery Sydney appears IRL, it seems as if Halsey falls into a dream, and in her imagination, she's enjoying a carnival with Sydney after dark. From dancing together to holding hands, the two take their time in exploring the abandoned surroundings, and at one point they happen upon an aquarium. However, as Halsey goes into the darkened aquarium, Sydney begins to disappear, and the singer is suddenly awakened from her dream.

As Rolling Stone reports, this is the second single off of Halsey's upcoming album. After releasing the track "Clementine," the singer had teased fans with hints of new material, and she had shared a number of preview clips from the spectacle, which was directed by Anton Tammi.

Prior to the release of the video, Halsey had encouraged followers to "let your imagination run wild," and following the video's debut, she praised fans for figuring out some of the video's hidden clues. Although the singer hasn't yet confirmed any of the theories, some fans believed "Graveyard" was connected to "Clementine," and pointed out scenes that appear to be connected.

Lucky for those of us still piecing together the eye-catching puzzle, there remains plenty of time before Halsey's new album arrives. In the meantime, we'll be enjoying repeat viewings of "Graveyard" and hoping for more new music soon.
