Halsey and Alev Aydin Have Matching Tattoos and the Meaning Behind Them Will Make You Melt

Halsey rocked our world yesterday when she announced her pregnancy with a gorgeous photo shoot on Instagram. Of course, immediately after the news broke, fans scrambled to look into the father, Alev Aydin, and figure out how long the pair has been dating. Well, it turns out, they've been keeping a pretty low profile and have actually been an item since at least this summer, when they got matching tats together.
Yup, this couple is inked and the tattoos are actually so adorable. In June, they headed Liquid Tattoo in Yucca Valley, California where they both got the word "seeds" tattooed on their feet. Alev got his on the top of his right foot while Halsey's is on the side of her left heel. And get this, they each got the ink in eachother's hand writing! Swoon.
But it gets even better. Amanda Owley, the tattoo artist who worked on the couple talked to People about the meaning behind the art.
"[Halsey] said that everything with how the planets were aligned and where the cosmos were at that moment indicated that it was the best time to plant seeds into the ground of life," Amanda explained. "They wanted to get the words on their feet because it was closest to the earth."
Um OK that is so beautiful and also eerily appropriate because they literally planted the seeds of a baby not long after getting the tats. Wow, maybe Halsey really is on to something here.
