Hallmark Star Rachael Leigh Cook Is Splitting From Her Husband of Nearly 15 Years
Hallmark star Rachael Leigh Cook and her husband Daniel Gillies are separating after nearly 15 years together.
The couple announced the split on Instagram.
Actress Rachael Leigh Cook and her husband Daniel Gillies are splitting up after nearly 15 years of marriage.
The 39-year-old actress is best known for her roles in a number of Hallmark movies, including Frozen in Love, Valentine in the Vineyard, and Summer Love. Many will also remember her from the 1999 comedy She’s All That. Daniel, 43, is famous for his starring role in CW's The Originals.
The former couple shared the news on Instagram with a solemn post explaining that they "mutually decided to separate" but it wasn't a decision they came to "easily or lightly."
Rachael and Daniel were married in 2004 following a short engagement. “We got engaged after dating for maybe five months and we got married a couple of months after that," she told People in 2013.
The two now share two kids together: daughter Charlotte, 5, and son Theodore, 4. They politely requested fans "discretion" for the sake of their children "during this time of transition."
