Hallmark Channel fanatics, get excited!
The Countdown to Christmas movies have almost come and gone, but now, just in time for the new year, Hallmark Channel has announced their January programming: ‘New Year, New Movies’ a.k.a. a month-long lineup of five never-before-seen films.
Although all of the films are world premieres, the faces on your screen them will look mighty familiar. Stars like Aimee Teegarden and Luke Macfarlane are just two of the friendly faces leading these romantic films that you won’t want to miss.
The new lineup kicks off on January 2 to make the most of the first month of the new year. Below, we’re sharing the full roster of films so you can mark your calendars accordingly.
The Hallmark Channel's ‘New Year, New Movies!’ 2021 Lineup:
TAKING A SHOT AT LOVE
Stars: Alexa PenaVega and Luke Macfarlane
Airs: Saturday, January 2 at 9 p.m. ET
Plotline: Jenna (played by Alexa) is a former professional dancer and Coop (played by Luke) is a side-lined hockey player for the NY Rangers. Jenna, who suffered from the same injury that Coop is nursing, agrees to teach him ballet in hopes of boosting his recovery.
A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION
Stars: Aimee Teegarden and Michael Rady
Airs: Saturday, January 9 at 9 p.m. ET
Plotline: A morning show producer (played by Aimee) makes a resolution to say "yes" more in her life. When her path crosses with the biggest "yes man" around (played by Michael), her biggest story unfolds.
TWO FOR THE WIN
Stars: Charlotte Sullivan and Trevor Donovan
Airs: Saturday, January 16 at 9 p.m. ET
Plotline: A champion skier (player by Trevor) meets a local ski instructor (played by Charlotte) while preparing for a monumental ski race.
LOVE IN THE ALPS
Stars: Nazneen Contractor and Brooks Darnell
Airs: Saturday, January 23 at 9 p.m. ET
Plotline: An average guy (played by Brooks) wins a luxury trip and, while on it, is mistaken for a millionaire. He hits it off with the concierge (played by Nazneen), who is under the impression that he’s rich.
SNOWKISSED
Stars: Jen Lilley and Chris McNally
Airs: Saturday, January 30 at 9 p.m. ET
Plotline: Writer Kate (played by Jen) never leaves New York but for an assignment, she treks to Canada. There, she meets an adventure guide, Noah (played by Chris).
