Halle Berry’s Butt Tattoo Just Made a Rare Appearance
In a backless bathing suit, no less.
If you didn't already know about Halle Berry's butt tattoo, it's about time you got a little more familiar with star's ink.
On Sept. 19, the former Catwoman shared a photo of herself walking along the beach in a backless black bathing suit, while holding a wide-brimmed hat in her right hand.
And not to sound like Carrie Bradshaw or anything, but we couldn't help but wonder about the tattoo we saw peeking out of her one piece.

Berry never made reference to the tattoo in her Instagram post, but opted for a witty caption instead: ″Back at the beach," she wrote.
However, she reportedly got the sunflower tattoo decades ago to cover up ex-husband David Justice's name.
While we couldn't track down the original article, several sites and blogs claim Berry opened up about her ink to Cosmo UK in the early '00s.
″I chose a sunflower because when darkness descends they close up to regenerate,″ she reportedly said. ″But I really wish I'd never had the tattoo in the first place. Clean, clear skin is always better."

Never stop being you, Halle.
Although the star may have had some regrets when it came to her OG tattoo, it doesn't seem as though she's afraid to have fun with body art these days — as long as it's temporary.
Back in March 2019, Berry revealed a mermaid-inspired spine tattoo in true Halle style: by sharing a topless photo on Instagram, all while frying an egg.
However, a few months later, she shared on The Late Late Show with James Corden that the tat wasn't the real deal.
″I am starting a new movie in a few months so I’m trying out different tattoos to see what will fit best for my character," she said, staying mum on the details of the upcoming film. "I’m discovering how long will they last, how much wear will I get out of one, so I know how much it’s all going to cost."
