As if Halle Berry’s ultra-high slit, floral embellished Oscars gown wasn’t show-stopping enough, the actress, 56, attended the event’s Vanity Fair afterparty in an equally breathtaking look: a strapless, black sheer mini dress adorned with sparkly tulle bows layered over a high cut body suit, showing off the star’s incredibly toned legs.
Berry shared a photo of the Oscar de la Renta moment on Instagram, writing: “… and then there was Vanity Fair. ✨” Accessories were minimal, and her stacked, curly bob perfectly complemented the exaggerated volume of the dress. Needless to say, fans were obsessed.
“My my my. Just 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one person commented. “Somebody is doing🦵 at the gym 😍🔥,” another added. “My girl Halle did the thing!” Mario Lopez wrote.
The outfit candidly showed off Berry’s strong physique and, specifically, her toned legs, which she’s been hard at work strengthening for an upcoming role in a film called Never Let Go, a thriller reportedly once titled Mother Land that follows a mom and her twin sons who have been tormented by an evil spirit for years, per Deadline.
In a March 3 Instagram video, she shared a clip of an intense gym session that captured her doing weighted squats, kettlebell swings, and more. “With this role, I face a physical challenge like never before,” she wrote. The movie’s release date has not yet been announced.
Although Berry wasn’t nominated at the 2023 Oscars, she attended the event to present the historic award of Best Actress to Michelle Yeoh—an award Berry herself received in 2002 for her performance in Monster’s Ball.
