Halle is currently gearing up for the release of Disney's live action Little Mermaid, which comes out this May. And apparently a brand new extended trailer for the movie is dropping during the Oscars tonight (!), so make sure not to abandon your TV for a snack run during the commercial break!
Halle recently revealed the new Little Mermaid doll Disney's dropping with the release of the film, saying on Insta, "omg 🥹💗the little girl in me is pinching herself right now ..i have my own Little Mermaid Ariel doll !!! I can’t believe how much she captures my version of this iconic character 🥹💕brb gonna go cry now …"
Back in September 2022, Halle told People that filming the movie was super emotional, saying, "I remember at the end of filming, wrap day, I was just sobbing because I truly felt like I had come out of this cocoon with Ariel. This story has done so much for me and the filming process has really kind of changed my life. I'd definitely say it mirrored what Ariel goes through in the film."
