We're officially only a few weeks away from Disney's live-action The Little Mermaid, and I, for one, am so excited to see it.

Namely, every single clip that has been released of Halle Bailey as Ariel has made me more and more pumped to not only see her in this role, but hear her take on these classic songs.

So, as the release date for The Little Mermaid approaches, Disney has been dropping more info about the movie. Namely, we recently got our first looks at Sebastian, Flounder, and more via official posters, and they really were something.

The internet immediately had jokes, which, like, I can't blame them because some of the looks for these classic characters were startling.

There was even this hilarious article from Vulture about how to "prepare and eat" The Little Mermaid cast.

That's all to say that Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and more characters are really top of mind, so when Halle walked the red carpet at the Met Gala this week — looking STUNNING, btw — she was asked about her underwater friends in the movie.

Swinging by to talk to the Cut after ascending the Met Gala steps, Halle was asked, "If you had to eat Flounder or Sebastian, who would you eat?"

Halle was literally startled when she was first asked this...

...but then she had the most Disney princess-like answer I've ever heard when she laughed and said she wouldn't eat any of them because they are her friends.

The video has over 2 million views and counting on TikTok, and all of the comments range from "hilarious question" to "why would you ask her that?"

To even some pointing out that Halle is vegan IRL.
