However, retailer Beloved Shirts has taken the trend to hair-rising heights with its Sexy Chest One Piece Swimsuit, which is actually a swimsuit screen printed with a chest hair on it.

The design comes in three skin tones and is currently on sale for $44.95.

Beloved Shirts — the company behind the bizarre creation — has received feedback from some bewildered social media users.

Is it a joke poking fun at the ideal summer body? Or a legitimate product? Who even knows anymore?

One thing’s for sure: we hope we never come across one of these on the beach.
