Hailey Bieber Responds to Pregnancy Rumors Yet Again
Attention: Hailey Bieber would like everyone to know that she isn’t pregnant. She just really, really likes food, OK?
The model took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, November 29, to clear up yet another pregnancy rumor that came to life after photos emerged with her hand over her stomach. "The internet is funny!" Hailey wrote in white letters over an all-black background. "No, I’m not pregnant. I just really love food."
Sadly, this is not the first time Hailey or her husband, Justin Bieber, had to address similar gossip. Back in 2017, the model responded to pregnancy rumors that arose after she wore a babydoll top with a cinched waist. "Yes, I'm pregnant and Kendall Jenner is the baby mama," she joked at the time.
While Hailey often seems to have a sense of humor about this sort of thing, it’s worth noting that invading anyone’s privacy — celebrity or not — is not really funny at all. Take, for example, the time Justin called out a paparazzo who followed him around to inquire if she was pregnant. "What’s your deal, bro?" Justin said during the July 2018 incident (which was caught on video). "I just don’t understand why you gotta try to get a rise, you know what I’m saying?"
This latest rumor might have been fueled by the fact that Justin did insinuate that he and Hailey might expand their family in the near future. "Next season BABIES," the singer-songwriter wrote in an Instagram post celebrating Hailey’s birthday earlier this month.
Still, it’s important to remember that such personal news should always be shared on a person’s own terms, and that goes for Justin and Hailey, too. If they choose to start a family in the future, they’ll tell the public whenever they’re ready to do so — and true fans will be OK with that.
