Hailey Bieber met Kendall Jenner for sushi at Nobu in Malibu, California last night, an outing that could easily call for an outfit comprised of wide leg denim, a white tank, and flat sandals. Instead, the model really went for it in a '90s inspired white cut-out dress by buzzy designer Christopher Esber. She paired the maxi with a green Bottega Veneta cassette bag featuring a thick gold chain, and barely-there acrylic heeled sandals—not a casual moment in sight.
We are under no illusions of that dreaded celebrity tagline, they're just like us. But we will say, that unlike that time last month that Hailey Beiber and Bella Hadid somehow hightailed it to a boat in Italy during a pandemic, we actually do prefer to also get very dressed up any time we actually leave the house now. There are closets of clothes, shoes, and bags that are missing vacations, and dinners, and cocktails, and plays. Sigh.
The Aussie designer of Bieber's dress, Christopher Esber has become a fashion favorite, notable for his 1990s-infused sleek silhouettes, that suffer from no shortage of cut-outs, waist-ties, and other innovative methods of showing off a midriff. With that description it's no surprise women including Zendaya, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Emily Ratajkowski are already counted as fans of the label, which launched in 2010. Should you find yourself hopping over to the deli, needing to pick up some almond milk at the grocery store, or taking your dog for a walk, shop Hailey's look.
