The Biebers arrived at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards in style.

Ahead of Kacey Musgraves's performance of "Star-Crossed," Hailey Bieber stepped out onto the MTV stage in an elegant cream-colored turtleneck gown by Alaïa, worn with an equally elegant updo hairstyle. But before her official entrance, she could be spotted adorably cheering on husband Justin Bieber backstage during his first VMAs performance since 2015.

As for Justin, he opted for simple overalls over a black sweatshirt. He sang hit pop song with Kid Laroi, "Stay," before winning Best Pop for song "Peaches" from his sixth studio album, Justice.

Both the model and singer have had their fair share of standout couple style moments this summer, whether it's documenting their date night looks on Instagram or meeting with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

Bieber opened up about how her relationship with Justin has evolved over the years, especially since the two married at the ages of 21 and 25 in 2018. “We were friends first for a really long time before there was anything romantic. But we always knew that we were aligned on what we wanted in our future. We had talked about wanting to be married young and having a family young and building a life. Even before we knew we wanted to be with each other,” Hailey previously told ELLE.

“I mean, I was married when I was 21, two months before I turned 22, which is insanely young. And sounds almost ridiculous when you say it out loud,” she added. “Although I do think for somebody like me and somebody like Justin, [it’s different]. We’ve seen a lot for our age. We have both lived enough life to know that’s what we wanted.”
