Hailey Baldwin Responds to Claim Her “Baby Fever” Comment Meant She and Justin Bieber Want Kids Soon

Those anticipating a Justin Bieber/Hailey Baldwin baby are going to have to wait a little longer, despite Baldwin’s capacity to gush over babies on Instagram. After Kylie Jenner posted a photo of Travis Scott and their daughter Stormi, Baldwin raised some eyebrows with her comment.

“Please stop giving me the most baby fever,” she wrote. “She’s the sweetest.”

Naturally, the Internet picked up on the remark, and for a brief moment had hope that Baldwin and Bieber may be having their own child very soon. In a post on their Instagram, ET Canada wrote: “Could there be a baby Bieber on the horizon?! Hailey Bieber says Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi is giving her “baby fever.”

But alas, Baldwin quickly shut down the possibility that she’ll be having children in the near future.

“Just admiring my friend’s beautiful daughter,” she commented on the post. “Doesn't mean I’m having babies anytime soon!”

Baldwin isn’t the only one in the relationship dropping hints about wanting babies, though. Earlier this month Bieber posted a photo of him and Baldwin, gushing over his wife and making a brief mention of their future children, but with a little caveat.

“Love dates with you baby.. one day Ill be doing daddy daughter dates..... not hinting at anything soon,” he wrote. “I’m not in a rush. i just wanna enjoy you by yourself for a while!”

In short: while Bieber and Baldwin may be making it very clear that they want children, every Instagram comment (or ultrasound photo) should be taken with a big grain of salt.
