Hailey Baldwin’s Makeup Artist Has Theories on Her Wedding Day Makeup

“She's going to want to feel like herself.”

Ever since Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber confirmed their engagement last month, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the announcement that the lovebirds have jumped into marriage just as quickly as they did into engagement. Alas, the pair still have yet to tie the knot — and, in fact, TMZ reported this week that they won't do so until sometime next year — but that won't stop the world from speculating about what those nuptials might look like when they do finally happen. Hailey's longtime makeup artist, Vincent Oquendo, for example, recently mused in a new interview about what the model's approach to wedding-day glam might look like.

"Although I wouldn't feel comfortable predicting Hailey's bridal look, I will say she's going to want to feel like herself," Vincent told Refinery29. "I don't know if it'll be a moment for a big look for her. I think she's going to be no different than any other bride, and just want to feel and look like her best self."

If Hailey does decide to go for a "big look," though, she'll know where to turn. Vincent, who also works with Gigi and Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, was the mastermind behind show-stopping beauty moments like Hailey's dark blue lips at the 2017 Brit Awards and her gorgeous purple-y eye at the Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event earlier this year. "Hailey is very, very, adventurous. When she calls me, it's when she wants to try something, when she's feeling adventurous, when she wants to push the boundaries a little bit," Vincent told Refinery29.

He added, "I can't think of a time she's pushed back and said 'no' when I've suggested trying something new. Sure, sometimes there's coaxing to warm her up to the idea, but she's never said, 'No, I don't want to try that.' It's really a testament to her wanting to make something memorable. She's always been fearless in that sense."
