Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland is not afraid of a big hair change, and we have the pictures to prove it. (Really, check out her transformation from light brown to dark brunette to deep red to, most recently, a champagne blond shade.)

It's been a few months since she switched it up, so naturally, we were due for an update—especially considering she commented, "Really feeling a hair change comin up. What to do... What to do..." on Instagram three weeks ago—and did we get one. Her latest hair look upon leaving her go-to spot, Nine Zero One Salon (a favorite to celebrities such as Emma Roberts, Nina Dobrev, and Selena Gomez): A shaggy cut and a brighter, sunnier blond shade.

The change comes courtesy of stylist Nikki Lee, who you might remember coined "cayenne spice" hair earlier this year—pumpkin spice's cooler, more vibrant red cousin. Lee was also the one who took Hyland blond last fall, though the variation wasn't quite as bright as what she has going on now. Take a look.

The combination is perfect for spring—her hair color, for obvious reasons, and the cut, because it's long enough to pull back but with the fresh edges of a shag. Plus, the lob length means that it's as versatile as ever.

See also: those brows. When you're going lighter it can sometimes feel counterintuitive to leave your eyebrows dark, but as we learned from Kristen Stewart's stylist, keeping them dark not only helps balance your complexion, it can make your eyes pop even more.

Yeah, we think Hyland's photo speaks for itself.
