Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shows Off Nose Job Results In New Photos

  • Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently underwent a rhinoplasty.

  • She appeared publicly without bandages for the first time since her April 5 surgery.

  • The Munchausen by proxy victim is documenting the process for a new TV series.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is showing off her new nose. On April 19, the Munchausen by proxy survivor was spotted in public without bandages on her nose for the first time since her April 5 plastic surgery.

While walking into a Louisiana Walmart, Gypsy, 32, appeared happy and smiling in pictures first obtained by TMZ. In the snaps, her new nose is clearly on display as she holds her phone to her ear.

In the pics, Gypsy wears a floral shirt and matching pink shorts. She also styles her blonde hair back in a bun. (Gypsy cut eight inches off her hair and dyed it lighter back in March, per People.)

Her nose and hair aren't the only things the Louisiana native has changed since she was released from prison in late 2023. Gypsy also got porcelain caps to replace the silver teeth she’s had for many years, per TMZ. Several of Gypsy’s teeth and salivary glands were removed by her mother, Dee Dee Blachard, after she falsely claimed that Gypsy was suffering from tooth decay.

Gypsy reportedly fielded several offers from dentists to have her work done, but ultimately decided to use someone in Louisiana, where she lives. She's had her top teeth capped and will soon do the bottom ones, per the outlet.

Gypsy previously shared that she planned to have a rhinoplasty to change the shape and appearance of her nose. Immediately following the April 5 procedure, she told People it “went great.”

"I come in and out of sleep," she told the magazine. "I was in pain at first, but I am on pain medicine."

Gypsy previously told the publication that she was preparing to have a rhinoplasty to change the shape and look of her nose. "I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently, and that includes a physical one, too," she said. According to TMZ, the surgery reportedly cost Gypsy $5,000 (which is about average, per the American Society of Plastic Surgeons).

Gypsy’s friend Nadiya Vizier told People that Gypsy had been wanting to undergo the procedure for a while. "She’s happy it's going to be done," Nadiya said. "She just wants to fix it up."

Gypsy's recovery will be documented on Life After Lock Up, which debuts on Lifetime in June. It's set to follow Gypsy and her now-estranged husband Ryan Scott Anderson after Gypsy’s release from prison. Gypsy served eight years in prison for second-degree murder related to the killing of her mother, DeeDee Blanchard.

This show is a follow-up to Lifetime's previous docuseries The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, which detailed the childhood abuse Gypsy suffered at the hands of DeeDee. The allegations included being forced to go through unnecessary medical treatments for false diagnoses.

But Gypsy reportedly has not filmed with Ryan since she filed for divorce and a restraining order last week, per TMZ. She announced in March that she had separated from Ryan, writing, "I need time to let myself find…who I am."

Gypsy is looking to be awarded interim and final spousal support "as he is at fault in the dissolution of the marriage." She's also requesting that Ryan not be given any support. The two are scheduled to go to court in late May.

Since she announced her separation, Gypsy has since been spotted spending time with her former fiancé Ken Urker. (Ken's mother told People that he's just "being a supportive friend" right now.)

Ultimately, Gypsy's friend Nadiya says that people should let Gypsy do Gypsy.

"My main message is...people need to let her live, let her experience. If they know that she's doing something good or wrong, let her experience that," Nadiya told People. "Let her learn from it. I feel like in a way, people are still trying to control her."

Viewers will have to wait to see everything unfold for Gypsy this summer!
