These Gushers and Fruit by the Foot Pies Are Either the Best or Worst Ideas Ever
Look, being stuck inside with minimal in-person contact is bound to make even the most introverted person a little zany. So we can’t be all that shocked at what the Gushers team at Betty Crocker did, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t. ’90s kids, you’ll have to brace yourself for this one.
Gushers posted a picture on Twitter of a Gushers pie and Fruit by the Foot pie. What are those exactly? Well, instead of baking a pie using apples, pumpkin, or blueberries, they used Gushers in one and Fruit by the Foot in the other. We know, we know.

On one hand, the colorful pies actually look good. If you love the gummy snacks on their own, who’s to say these won’t be just as delicious? However, a melted version of the treats might ruin the entire thing. All we’re saying is ... would it be our first choice of something to eat? No. But would we take a bite or three if it was in front of our faces? Yes.
What makes these pies even cooler is that the Gushers one looks to forego a typical crust, and use a Fruit by the Foot one instead. Hey, it’ll keep it from leaking, right? And the Fruit by the Foot pie is in a woven shape, so it actually looks tasty? We don’t know what we’re saying either.
Some Twitter followers expressed their disgust and others wanted a slice for themselves. To each their own, right? You never know when you might be this bored and give it a try yourself.
