These Guinness World Record Holders Will Teach You Their Tricks on Your Next Trip

Airbnb is taking things to the extreme.

The home-sharing platform announced its new “Guinness World Record” experiences, which will get users up close with world record holders on their travels. Experiences range from tasting the world’s most expensive milkshake in New York City with the chef who created it to milking cows with the man who set the record for the longest journey reversing a tractor and trailer.

“Our record-holders are stepping off the page to bring their talent to life at a location near you,” Guinness World Records announced on Thursday. To celebrate the 2020 edition of the book, select record-holders will host Airbnb experiences around the world, linked to their skillset.

One of the most unique experiences is learning how to smash tiles, bricks, and boards in London with “the world’s most powerful couple.” The Pittmans, who were on “Britain’s Got Talent,” hold the world records for fastest time to break 1,000 tiles. You’ll get to take a smashed tile home with you and a copy of the book they're featured in, which may be one of the most memorable souvenirs to put on display.

You can sway and pick up some hula-hooping tricks from Getti Kehayova in Las Vegas, who set the record for largest hula hoop spun. Or perform some acrobatic tricks with Brittany Walsh in Las Vegas, who set the record for “farthest arrow shot using feet.” (She will perform the trick for you in person.) Or if you’re looking for a record that’s slightly less physical, you can explore the world’s largest troll collection at the Troll Hole Museum in Ohio.
