I love our white flamingos nestled amongst the fresh eucalyptus and lilies.

A trip to Peterborough flower market with my mother-in-law to pick up some festive floral delights.

Terra-cotta pots from my in-laws’ greenhouses fill the hallway, ready to be put in bedrooms.

My mother made this wreath on our front door. I love the mix of spindly branches, glittered birds, and fresh eucalyptus.

This guy comes out every year. The kids love changing the date on him during Advent. And as you can see, we love Quality Street.

My mother is a genius when it comes to the tricky part of assembling all these woodland creatures into an oasis. Here she is putting the finishing touches to this sweet little deer.

Tea time! And looking good with our Christmas cake sadly not made by me, but my mother.

Hanging the last lanterns, trying not to fall. . . . I love the shadows these create on this old, weathered wall.
