Grimes just shared a rare photo of her and Elon Musk’s baby girl

In December last year, Grimes and Elon Musk welcomed a second child via surrogacy, giving the two-year-old son they share together a younger sister. But since then, we've seen and heard little about the pair's baby girl, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. However, in a recent social media post, the 34-year-old musician shared a rare photo of her daughter leaning over a book and wearing the sweetest pink bow in her hair.

"My daughter is dancing to techno over this copy of The Birth of Tragedy by Nietzsche - what a queen," Grimes wrote. She also commented below that "she loves Boris Brejcha omg she’s so hardcore haha," referencing the German DJ.

It wasn't until March this year that the birth was actually announced, happening accidentally when Exa was heard crying in another room as Grimes was being interviewed for Vanity Fair.

Speaking with the publication about the name of her second child - her son's chosen name, X Æ A-Xii caused quite the stir re pronunciation when it was revealed - she explained: "Exa is a reference to the supercomputing term exaFLOPS (the ability to perform 1 quintillion floating-point operations per second). Dark, meanwhile, is ‘the unknown. People fear it but truly it's the absence of photons. Dark matter is the beautiful mystery of our universe.'"

She then went on to explain the meaning behind Sideræl, pronounced sigh-deer-ee-el, saying that it related to "the true time of the universe, star time, deep space time, not our relative earth time."

Well, one thing's for sure, both X and Exa are going to be the coolest kids on the block when they're older.
