Greg Grippo’s Uncle Allegedly Responded to Reality Steve’s Spoiler That He’s the Bachelor

Welp, the situation with ABC’s next Bachelor has become even more complicated. To catch you up real quick, spoiler source Reality Steve tweeted that producers are almost definitely going with Katie Thurston’s ex Greg Grippo, a controversial contestant who was accused of gaslighting and manipulating Katie during their breakup.

To quote Steve: “What I’ve been hearing the past 5 days or so regarding the next Bachelor are this…been told it’s going to be Greg. Obviously, it’s never ‘official’ until ABC announces it (whenever that may be), but at this point I would be very surprised if it’s not him.”

But according to sleuth-y fans, Greg’s uncle went ahead and hit Steve’s replies, writing, “Well then be prepared to be ‘surprised.’” Oh, and apparently, he also wrote (and then deleted), “You are wrong. They offered it to Greg but he declined. They wanted him. It will be Andrew.” The comment was captured by everyone’s fave fan account @bachelornation.scoop, so go ahead and check it out here:

On top of all this, ABC producer Mike Fleiss is out here trolling everyone in the light of this Greg spoiler, tweeting several vague and un-specific musings like, “Major announcement regarding #TheBachelor !!! No official decision has been made…Stay tuned” and “These decisions regarding our next #TheBachelor are complicated. Like the complicated process that gives us delicious, gluten-free @OmissionBeer.”

Sooooo...yeah: Maybe Greg isn’t the next Bachelor after all? TBD who gets the gig, but ABC could even wait until Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette airs in order to include her contestants in the running!
