Grape Cranberry Sauce

Grape Cranberry Sauce
Serves 6

Traditional cranberry sauce gets an update with the addition of juicy seedless red grapes. Making cranberry sauce from scratch is easier than you might think. Simply simmer the grapes and cranberries with water, sugar and spices until the cranberries burst.

Prep: 5 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

1 package (12 ounces) cranberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
¼ cup water
¾ cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
pinch salt

Place the cranberries, grapes, sugar, water, cinnamon stick and salt into a saucepan over medium heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the cranberries burst. Serve at room temperature or cool and refrigerate. Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.
